Chicago-based keyboardist, arranger, and composer Doctor A. built his reputation through studio sessions, live performance, and film-score work. Equally comfortable with acoustic piano, vintage keyboards, modern synthesizers, and orchestral textures, he was initially brought in to help transform Bailey’s demos into full arrangements. His influence soon extended far beyond that role. Thoughtful, precise, and quietly adventurous, Doctor A. provides much of the band’s atmosphere and musical architecture, moving effortlessly from intimate accompaniment to vast cinematic sound. What began as a studio assignment quickly became something far more permanent.
